Opening Ceremonies at the Singapore Yachting Festival

The Singapore Yachting Festival at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove was an unforgettable experience. The annual show welcomed more than 12,000 visitors and featured over 100 participating brands, with more than 20 making their Festival debut. On display were 70 yachts, including 10 premieres, two global debuts, and 15 yachts over 24 meters in length—a true reaffirmation of Singapore’s position as a leading yachting hub in Asia.

Innovation and variety were on full display. From elegant catamarans to sleek motor yachts, the range of vessels spoke to every style of boating. Of UAE builder Gulf Craft’s three yachts, the standout was the Nomad 101, making its Asia premiere. Designed for long-range exploration with a 1,000NM cruising range, it showed that adventure and luxury can sail side by side.

Arthur Tay, Chairman & CEO of SUTL Group and ONE°15 Marina, summed up the energy of the event perfectly:

“The response to Singapore Yachting Festival 2025 has been overwhelmingly positive, with visitors, exhibitors, and partners praising the curated experiences, innovative concepts, and range of yachts. It’s a strong affirmation of Singapore’s growing stature as Asia’s premier yachting hub. As the organiser, we’re proud to witness the continued expansion in both scale and impact, and we remain committed to raising the bar with each edition – delivering deeper engagement, stronger sustainability efforts, and broader global partnerships.”

A Human Connection

While the festival dazzled with an impressive lineup, my greatest takeaway was not just the yachts. It was the friendships made with incredible people from all walks of life. Over the course of the event, I connected with industry leaders, seasoned sailors, and everyday people just like you and me who share a passion for life on the water.

These conversations reminded me that while the yachts are breathtaking, it’s the people who make the yachting world truly special.

Song of Songs Steals the Show

Song of Songs by Heysea Yachts

The undeniable star of the Singapore Yachting Festival was Song of Songs, a 42.2-meter masterpiece built in 2022 by Heysea Yachts with exterior and interior design by VYD Studio. From the moment you step aboard, you understand why it drew so much attention.

This six-cabin yacht accommodates up to 12 guests and blends sleek modern design with thoughtful details that make every corner feel like a retreat. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the main saloon flood the space with light, offering uninterrupted views of the sea. The expansive sun deck is perfect for socializing, with plenty of lounging areas and, of course, a Jacuzzi—because what’s a true luxury experience without one?

Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, Song of Songs cruises comfortably at 14 knots and can reach up to 17 knots, making it just as suited for relaxed island-hopping as it is for covering distance in style. A beach club, alfresco dining areas, and modern entertainment systems add to the onboard experience, while its 26,300-liter fuel capacity ensures long-range cruising without compromise.

It’s a yacht that delivers both beauty and performance, making it the kind of vessel you can fall in love with instantly.

Asia Global Yachting’s Award-Winning Touch

What makes Song of Songs even more special is that it’s now available for charter with Asia Global Yachting—a company that was recently honored with the Best Asia-Based Charter Company award at the Yacht Style Awards 2024.

Their reputation for excellence in service, curated itineraries, and luxury experiences makes them the perfect match for a yacht of this caliber.

Singapore marked my first time in Asia, and it set the stage for an unforgettable series of yacht shows around the world. The memories made, both on and off the water, are proof that the yachting lifestyle is as much about connection as it is about luxury.

Next stop is the Monaco Yacht Show, and it will be my very first time in Europe. I’m so excited to be attending thanks to the sponsorship of VLX Yachts, my trusted partner for luxury yacht experiences all over the world. Their support is the reason I’ll be walking the docks in Monaco, bringing you exclusive coverage of one of the most prestigious yacht shows in the world!
